Asher Pacht

Asher Pacht,  Director of Development, supports the organization’s programs and operations by building relationships with Beacon Institute donors, partners, and the public. 

Asher earned his M.P.A. in non-profit management from the N.Y.U. Wagner School of Public Service, where he studied international development, global public health and environmental science and policy.

Previously, as Outreach Coordinator for the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall, NY, Asher helped raise funds, organized events and programs, and managed the volunteer program.

For four years, Asher was Coordinator at N.Y.U. Law School’s Institutes on the Park, helping launch two of its four legal research centers and managing an international Fellows program of over 90 top legal scholars from around the world. There he helped host the presidents of Italy and Slovenia, and Nobel Prize-winning economist Amartya Sen.

In college, Asher worked for Sierra Club and the Boston City Council while earning his B.A. in International Affairs at Northeastern University. Originally from the Connecticut River valley in New Hampshire, he enjoys hiking the Highlands and kayaking on the Hudson.
