A Six-Credit Program in Environmental Science and Policy

RiverU is ecology, environmental engineering and water policy injected into a real-world context, where connections to environmental issues are discovered through experiential, directed and hands-on learning in the classroom, lab, workplace and field. A career day with experts and professionals will allow students to build relationships for potential internships, see how and where classroom theory is put to work in the real world, and hear about new careers that are emerging in a new age of environmentalism.

RiverU Update

A recent announcement by the Hudson River Park Trust (HRPT) to award its Pier 26 Estuarium project to Clarkson University brings new opportunity for future students of RiverU. Though RiverU will not run in 2015, plans are in development for 2016.
